Cool posts. I liked the idea of the digestive system activity right before lunch. Ha ha. I was teaching gr.8 Optics as well and I borrowed an activity from Stefan where you have a light source and students have to use a certain number of mirrors to get the light source to hit different parts of the class room. The students enjoyed bossing each other around and they liked the challenge. Some students commented on the fact that the light got dimmer the more mirrors were introduced into the system and it was fun for them to try to think of reasons why which eventually led us into "discovering" the Subtractive Theory of Light.

Anyways, I was just curious, has anyone received their marks yet?
